For my blogpost I chose hurricane Iris.
Iris was a small but severe Category 4.
Hurricane Iris lasted from October 4th to October 9th in 2001. This storm's winds and storm surges caused severe damage to Souhern Belize. With its 140 mph wonds it became the most powerful Atlantic hurricane for the year 2001. The storm causes 31 deaths. The damage caused is in total about $150 million.
